Islanders fan favorite Michael Haley could be facing supplementary discipline following a fight filled game on Sunday afternoon between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Worcester Sharks.

According to Sharks Page.com, Haley jumped Mike Moore, captain of the Sharks, and bloodied his nose during the ensuing fight. Both wound up in the penalty box from the scuffle with Haley getting extra penalty minutes. Moore went off to have his nose fixed before returning and heading to the penalty box to serve his time. With no stoppages in play Moore and Haley both left the penalty box at the same time and would immediately go at it again. They were both handed five-minute majors for fighting and game misconducts for fight while leaving the penalty box.

Under the AHL’s rule 70.4, the pair could receive a six game suspension for their actions. The league will review the case.

Earlier in the first Trevor Gillies and Frazer McLaren dropped the gloves. Then at the 16:23 mark of the first period, Brodie Reid and Tyler McNeely were sent off for fight.

The Sound Tigers fell to the Sharks 5-2 after a bad second period which saw them allow four goals.
