The Montréal Canadiens will make their first trip of the season to Long Island tonight to take on the New York Islanders. The biggest news about the game, there will be no snow on this time around. The Canadiens defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4- nothing last night with Michael Cammalleri, Yannick Weber, P.K. Subban, and Travis Moen all scoring. The Canadiens outshot the Hurricanes 36-25 in the win.

-The Islanders will send Evgeni Nabokov to guard the net tonight. Nabokov stoped 26 of 29 shots he faced on Tuesday against the New York Rangers and posted .897 save percentage. Overall he is 1-5 in seven starts with a goals against average of 2.89 and saver percentage of .910.

-The Islanders have scratched Kyle Okposo and Mark Eaton for the second stright game.

The Canadiens will counter that by sending Carey Price to protect the net. Price shutout the Hurricanes last night making 25 saves. He is 7-6-3 in 16 games with a goals against average of 2.29 and a save percentage of .913.
